This lamp is called Laleh. In Iranian culture, the tulip symbolizes the lasting presence of loved ones who are no longer with us—the sisters and brothers who gave their lives so that the homeland might endure. It represents a loss that must not be forgotten and serves as a memorial.

The design has both symbolic and functional purposes: as an object, it tells a story of absence and remembrance, while its built-in rechargeable batteries allow the user to move, touch and even embrace it. As a lamp, it softly illuminates itself and a small halo around it, creating a warm, candle-like atmosphere and a distinct presence in the space.

Designed to operate without a direct power connection, Laleh can be easily repositioned and displayed anywhere, from a bookshelf to a dining table.
